Compassionate Communication

Compassionate Communication has evolved over the last twelve years. It is about how we approach each human encounter and communicate. Compassionate Communication seeks inner active knowing that leads to outer active love.

How do we approach being clear, transparent and awake to what is growing in what is? How can we come to regard each conversation, each meeting with the Other, each human encounter as an approach?

Can we imagine each encounter as that which is approaching us out of the future, as that which is becoming, growing, perhaps even bringing us our destiny?

Compassionate Communication is an ongoing exploration of the nature and mission of empathy. It recognizes there are many ways to understanding empathy. An anthroposophical understanding is our goal.

This current articulation of the work arises out of ongoing research into a spiritual-scientific understanding for, and development of, Nonviolent Communication. It has its foundation in Marshall Rosenberg's work and its revelation through Rudolf Steiner's.

We discover that we are each and all in a great process of becoming; we need a language that serves the striving, growing, unfolding life within ourselves and each other. Metamorphic (Nonviolent) Communication is such a language. This work uses the NVC model and deepens the experience to transform it into a servant to our becoming human.
